I Have a Dream

We have had human rights for years, but why are they still abused? See it is not enough to know our rights. Our freedom comes with responsibilities.

1.The right to life. We shall not have our right of life be taken away from anyone! We shall not take away the right of life from anyone! We shall love our neighbours. The solution for one inhuman act is not another inhuman act. Two wrongs don't make a right. "An eye for an eye only makes the whole world blind." Abolish capital punishment.

2. All men are born free. We shall not be discriminated against - and we shall not discriminate! Different is not bad. Sometimes different is just different. Two people can look at the same thing and see two different things. "Don't do what others say. Just listen to them and do what you feel good." As a popular song goes,"what is the caste of the man who created the caste?"

3. Freedom of speech. We shall not be silenced! We shall not silence another! We shall hear all as we would have others hear us. We shall speak to all as we would have others speak to us. Words matter. They inspire the next steps; action, reaction and sometimes even a revolution. So stand up, speak up and act out!


I have a dream, of a Golden Age. It’s not a fantasy, it’s not an ideal. I simply see respect and love, flourished everywhere! Truth, peace, non-violence and righteousness. It’s within my grasp now. I’m starting with myself.
